Wow, I can’t believe I’m nearly halfway through the Patchwork Mystery CAL already! This week’s square is the Pasha Square by Shelby Sheas Stitches. If you want to make your own, you can find the pattern HERE.
I really liked this pattern. Lots of great textures and different stitches. What I think is really cool is that I used the same colors, but arranged them differently and this week’s squares look completely different! The drastic difference really inspired me to try some different combos on the previous weeks’ squares that I haven’t yet done 3 of.
I really struggled this week on my first square. Not because the pattern was difficult to follow, but because I couldn’t decide how to place my colors. It took me until Friday to finish the first one, but then once I had that one complete, my second one came along in just a couple of hours, giving me a chance to make another square from week 3 and start a 3rd week 4 (until I ran out of grey yarn and couldn’t remember where I stashed my extra skeins!) Which reminds me… I think I’m going to need to buy more yarn!
I know I’m going to have a real challenge deciding how to arrange these when it comes to sewing these bad boys together, but I am so excited to see the finished project!
Until next week, happy hooking!
