Pattern Release: The Candy Cane Cowl

My new Candy Cane Cowl pattern is great for an intermediate crocheter. It can be a little bit tricky to get started, but once you get the hang of it, the cowl will work up very quickly. You will want to grab your favorite DK (3 weight) yarn in 2 colors and a 5mm crochet hook, plus you will want to have at least 2 stitch markers handy for this project. I used KnitPicks Swish DK, courtesy of WeCrochet for my design sample.

Pattern Release: the Woven Winter Pillow

This pillow rocks! The texture is great, and the prefabricated pillow form I purchased at the Walmart fits snugly inside which makes the pillow fluffier and stiffer than the rest of our old throw pillows that we have loved maybe a little too much over the years. You will need 3 colors of your favorite worsted yarn. I used KnitPicks Brava, courtesy of WeCrochet. You will also need a pillow form. I purchased a 2 pack from Walmart for about $10.00.

Pattern Release: the Diamond Drape Shawl

As soon as I opened my package of City Tweed DK yarn from KnitPicks, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. Pattern Release: the Grand Gentleman Hat

I designed my hat for this year's Crochet Cancer Challenge in honor of my daddy. I love that the challenge is held during his birthday month, and I was able to sweet talk a friend who had already called "dibs" on today to trade me days so I could share my dad's hat with you on his birthday!

Pattern Release: the Alpine Aspen Scarf

The Alpine Aspen Scarf was designed as part of the Autumn Exclusives event hosted by my friend Fiona from Cosy Rosie UK, and I am absolutely thrilled that she asked me to be part of another of her "Exclusives" events! I know you are going to love this fun pattern. It is advanced beginner friendly and just complex enough to keep you interested, while also having a series of repeats that can be done while watching a show with your spouse or refereeing unruly children.

Pattern Release: the Playful Poncho

The Playful Poncho is going to be your go-to fall accessory, and you'll probably want to wear it in the spring as well as the warmer winter days too! I had so much fun working on this design, and when I was finished my hubby put it on as a joke. Shockingly, it looked really good on him as well, which makes this the perfect unisex poncho pattern.
